Daydream Software SRL, a company registered in Romania (“Daydream Software”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operates the "Rollplay - Character Sheet" mobile app and the website at daydreamteam.com (together, the “Service”). The Service is free to use, with optional paid content and features. This page explains what personal information we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
We only use your personal information to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, available at daydreamteam.com/terms-of-service.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. We use your email address to identify your account, to let you sign in and reset your password, and to send you messages about your account and important changes to the Service.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from your account page on our website.
Content you create. Characters, game systems, items, spells and other content you create are stored on our servers so they can be synced to your account and shared when you choose to share them.
Purchases. When you buy something, we receive a confirmation of the purchase so we can unlock it on your account. We never receive or store your card or other payment details (see In-App Purchases and Payments below).
Fraud prevention. If we detect a suspected fraudulent purchase, we record the account involved so we can investigate it.
Usage, diagnostic and device data. Collected through the analytics and error reporting services described below.

Log Data

When an error occurs in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when the error occurred, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. We use it only to find and fix problems.

Analytics

In order to better understand how our app is used and which of its features are most important to our users, we track some basic usage information. We do not link this information to your email address or to the content in your account:

- Loading Times
- Played Games
- Time spent in the app
- Features interacted with
- Used settings (language, audio, etc)
- Errors

This data is collected in the app through Unity Analytics, and on the website through Google Analytics. These services may also collect device identifiers, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and technical information about your device or browser. We do not use this data for advertising. You can object to this collection at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. Our website uses the following:
- Session cookie: when you sign in, we store a secure token in a cookie to keep you signed in as you navigate the site. It is used only for authentication.
- Google Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. These are only set if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Reject", Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
- Google reCAPTCHA: protects our forms (such as sign-in and sign-up) from bots and abuse. To do this, Google may set cookies and collect information about your browser and how you interact with the page.
We do not use cookies for advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may stop some features of the site from working, including signing in.
To change your choice on the cookie banner, clear this website's data in your browser settings. The banner will then appear again on your next visit.
The "Rollplay - Character Sheet" mobile app does not use cookies, but it stores some information on your device to support essential features, such as keeping you signed in. We do not share this information with third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to run the Service. Each of them processes some of your data according to its own privacy policy:

We also use hosting and infrastructure providers, which store data (including your account and content) on our behalf and may only use it to provide their services to us.
Apple and Google also collect their own data about app usage through the App Store and Google Play, under their own privacy policies. This is outside our control.
We do not share your personal information, such as your email address, with third parties for advertising or marketing.

In-App Purchases and Payments

Purchases in the app are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases on our website are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card or other payment details. We only receive what we need to confirm the purchase and unlock it on your account.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and the content you create are stored by our hosting and database providers. Some of our providers, including the third-party services listed above such as Unity, Google, Apple and Stripe, may process data in the United States or other countries outside the EU. When that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards required by EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Why We Use Your Data

We only use your personal information when the law allows us to:
- To provide the Service you signed up for: your account, syncing and sharing your content, and unlocking your purchases.
- Our legitimate interests: keeping the Service secure, protecting our forms from bots, preventing fraud, finding and fixing errors, and understanding how the app is used so we can improve it.
- Your consent: Google Analytics on our website and our newsletter. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legal obligations: keeping records of purchases as required by tax and accounting law.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete them immediately. Copies may remain in our database backups for a short period, until those backups are overwritten.
We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe, records of suspected fraud for as long as needed to investigate them, and records of purchases for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Analytics data is kept by Unity and Google according to their own data retention settings.

Your Rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- correct information that is wrong
- have your information deleted
- receive your information in a portable format
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
To use any of these rights, email us at contact@daydreamteam.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Sharing Your Content

Your content is private unless you choose to share it. When you share content, we create a private link that expires. Anyone who has the link can view and import the shared content until it expires, so only send it to people you trust. Content that another user has imported is a copy stored on their own device, and it stays there even after the link expires or you delete your own content or account.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account and the content stored in it at any time, from inside the app or on our website at daydreamteam.com/user/delete-account. You can also ask us to delete it by emailing contact@daydreamteam.com.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will post the new Privacy Policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will also notify you by email.
